No 25 Drifter Handbag

The daughter of a good friend deals in vintage clothing and accessories. She came across a bag similar to this one, sent it to me and said, "Colonel, you have to make a bag like this." So, I did. The first one out of our workshop will go to my buddy, Holly, in North Carolina, to reward her keen eye for classic design.

The drifter seems to fill a niche in our line of ladies bags. Its crescent shape and slightly slouchy posture is perfect for our soft, dry-milled leather. The vintage bag was born in the 1960s before the advent of smart phones and the like, so I updated the design with two pockets on the outside front.

Steer hide stap adjusts from 21" to 24". Pigshin lining. Nickel finish hardware. Zippered top. 10 1/2"to 13 1/2" at widest point.
